VGMD: Super Mario Bros 3 – Warp Zone
A song we should all be familiar with, the Warp Zone is one of the most recognizable ‘secrets’ of the NES era of gaming. Whether you held down on the D-pad for 3 seconds on a white block, flew over a lava pit into a secret room, or hit a rock in the desert with a hammer, accessing these warp tunnels through magical whistles helped many kids to complete Super Mario Bros 3. I know it did for me. I swear I’ve tried to run through the entire game but as soon as I get to Pipe World the dream is kinda over. Either way, as soon as you clicked that whistle, you were presented with this song. Enjoy.
