S.H. Figuarts Tiger & Bunny
In the last year one anime has stood out as a classic and dynamic series which is the Superhero Action anime Tiger & Bunny. Now I am not going explain the whole show as Charlotte has pretty much has and there is a panel the cast has done at AX which you should check out here. http://www.ogeeku.com/2012/tiger-bunny-ax-panel/
Now with the show is known for his high action and its product placement of various companies on the suits of the Superheroes. One of them is on Wild Tiger’s right shoulder of S.H. Figuarts. What is a S.H. Figuart you may ask? S.H. Figuart is a new standard collectible figure by Bandai and Tamashii Nations that incorporates a lot of detail in the figure and portrays the figure in so many different ways. As stated on the boxes of each figure “S.H. Figuarts is a new standard figure series that incorporates the Bandai action figure ‘art’ under the theme ‘pursuing character expression through humanoid action’” which translate to they made a figure of Bandai quality and made it super detail in portraying the action that occurs. So you can have fun posing your toys and have them be collectors items at the same time. While at AX I spotted both the S.H. Figuarts Wild Tiger and Barnaby Brooks Jr. figures and I knew I had to get them.
The box art for the figures is absolutely stunning as they pose the figure inside with all the accessories and the characters on the side. With the figures themselves they express high amounts of detail as your move their arms up and down, bendable legs, different hand plates to express different expressions, and of course highly pose-able action.
One thing also included is there good luck mode which is their power up to finish off their enemies which results in one of their limbs getting enhance to finish them off and they look absolutely awesome here.
Now these figures aren’t that cheap as most prices can be $40 or the highest being $80. You can find these online but they might end up paying the higher price. The best place is at cons since they might be lower in price and you get it right there. If you are a fan of Tiger and Bunny then you should get these figures for endless fun. Also several of the other NEX members have been release so far of this posting Rock Bison, Sky High, and Origami Cyclone have been release with the last two coming out pretty soon.
