Ogeeku.com IndieGoGo Success!!

During our 24 hour SpaceWarsAThon broadcast this past weekend (highlight video to come soon), the community raised enough donations to meet and exceed our site fundraising goal on IndieGoGo. As of yesterday, when the campaign closed, we raised $3705 for the site!! The level of our excitement right now can best be compared to this:


I am beyond ecstatic, and I wanted to greet you all personally to thank you for your support of our site:


Thank you again to everyone for everything thus far. It’s still hard for me to believe that a ridiculously awesome community has sprouted around something that started out as just an idea that Charlotte and I had back in July. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have all of you now in my life and as part of this site.

You. Are. The. Best.

But we can’t stop now. I will be working hard alongside fellow staff members to follow out our promises with making live-streams better, fulfilling rewards (contact me at jon@ogeeku.com), and improving the site’s design and functionality.

We need your help too! We need daily content for the site (articles, rants, reviews) and street team support. Every time you link to our site, tell your friends about us on Facebook, join us in chat during a broadcast, comment on an article, etc, you are contributing :) So please, continue to do so!
