Metal Gear Rising Gameplay Trailer Looks INSANE

There are two sets of fans on both sides of the fence when it comes to MGR: Revengence. One side is “This looks fucking awesome” while the other is “This looks like shit it isn’t Metal Gear blah blah” whatever. For me i’m on the former, and the new gameplay trailer looks like it could shut some mouths up. If i’m playing as Raiden I expect crazy gameplay and flashy moves and of course Platinum Games is the one to deliver. Although it doesn’t compare to the graphical powerhouse that MGS4 was Metal Gear Rising: Revengence looks to win people over with it’s blazing fast gameplay.

    It looks great but I can see why people would be upset.  It has sort of become…otherworldly.  The MGS series had a sort of realism to it, Like while there was supernatural aspects some things acted as they should.  A sword cutting through a helicopter leans more towards like Devil May Cry.

    Still it looks freaking amazing.

    I completely agree with you, one can argue though that the technology of that time causes more craziness to occur. Either way it’ll have a different outlook on how the Cyborg Ninjas operate especially in a future AFTER snake.

    Apparently I misread, I thought it said “Metal Gear” not “Dynasty Warriors” ;P

    But in all seriousness, it does kinda look more like inFamous meets Dynasty Warriors where gameplay is concerned, though I’m sure the story will still be classic MG. Still, inFamous was a lot of fun…

    P.S. No matter how hard they try to make Raiden look bad-a**, it just will not happen. Ever.
