Augus’s Flowchart to Social Interactions
Full disclosure: I LOVED Asura’s Wrath. Sure, it may have skimped on the gameplay department a bit, but the anime-inspired over-the-top characters and story kept me hooked for multiple play-throughs. I completely understand how someone could be turned off to this game, but those people are obviously dumb.
Augus is one of the Eight Guardian Generals to Gaea, their beloved planet. He lives for the spirit of the fight, and now that I think about it, ONLY for the spirit of the fight. Augus was Asura’s mentor and teacher. After he and his colleagues betray Asura, the overly angry protagonist, they take on the pompous “Seven Deities” title. Asura reappears 12,000 years later. He isn’t a happy camper.
Augus is a teacher at heart. The inhabitants of Gaea aren’t exactly the sharpest spoons in the box, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Frustrated, bored, and exhausted, Augus set out to teach them proper social skills. If the humans were socializing better, they would have more babies. More babies means more souls for the Mantra Machine.
His lessons left much to be desired…
Until next time!
